I think so. Speeds are down. I think I’ve been in fewer jams caused by wrecks. Would be nice to have more cameras.

Hmm. The best thing to do in this situation would be to call 311 back with the SR number, and ask for a status update. It may already be marked for towing.
When calling, you can say “I’d like to check on the status of my service request. Would you mind looking up the details in the Salesforce system for me please?”.
This will get you the most information.

Traffic in general is way better post pandemic, but still sucks occasionally.

I don't see how it would help traffic. Probably helps deadly accidents, which that stretch of 83 is pretty well known for.

I don't know why you think speed cameras would help or hurt traffic.
People go slower for a couple of miles.

People still drive fast but at the cameras people slam on their brakes suddenly and go below the speed limit

Where have you been the last few decades? You think not breaking the law keeps you safe from police?

They could get the possible person that job, give them the highest school administrator salary in the country, and it wouldn't make any difference in academic performance except maybe at the margins.

Erik or Joe at Have Fun Be Lucky in Hampden do some amazing color work. My sleeve was done by Erik and I have a handful of tattoos from Joe, all color and they are holding up pretty well after a few years.

This is similar even at the elementary level. I don’t think people really understand that the MCAP Math test is almost just as much of a critical thinking/reading comprehension test as it is a math test. And not to say that these skills shouldn’t be nurtured. I just dont think people really understand that failing the Math MCAP doesnt necessarily mean the student doesnt have foundational math skills.
Heres a literal example from an MCAP practice book I have to teach next week: “Last month Columbus Circle Travel sold economy-class airline tickets from New York to Tokyo that cost 1296 each. The same class of ticket from NY to Sydney cost 2592 each. Columbus Circle travel earned 108864 in ticket sales. Select the combinations of tickets that could have been sold”. And then has 5 choices of “___ tickets to Tokyo and __ tickets to Sydney”.
I guarantee a good amount of my elementary students that can do the multiplication/division work will get stumped by “economy class tickets”, “class of ticket”, “Sydney” (thinking its a person), or will just not have the critical thinking skills to figure out what the question is really asking. This is just one example but my point is that the test isnt as simple as giving a multiplication problem and they solve it. The questions are purposely overly complex and deceptive. Again, not saying critical thinking like this shouldnt be taught, I just dont think people really understand what the test looks like and how hard it is for ALL students in Maryland, not just Baltimore kids

Claddagh and Looneys get so packed - especially in the summer, weekends and weekday VOLO nights. You'll have a lot of success on O'Donnell Sq if you're looking to add a sardine such as yourself to one of those cans.
I say that with jealousy of you because I am literally 27 and I can't hang like that anymore lol.

what an absolute piece of dog shit this article is. is it really worth it to use AI to add "according to authorities" to the end of EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE of a press release rather than pay a journalist, however lowly amongst the profession, to take the press release, call someone for a quote, clip something from another story, and piece together something that doesn't make you want to puke after reading it.

You're absolutely correct. They could be busy writing legit tickets their entire shift the entire month and blow past their quota.

Because he took a plea, gave information to the state and will likely testify in the future. Not saying it’s right, but it happens.

I am curious though if previous generations would have been able to pass these tests. Like was this always an issue and we're just noticing cause we're measuring or is this a new thing. And if it's new why? And when did it begin

I think it has helped curb the amount of accidents by the pepsi sign, but causes everyone to bunch up even after they all get past the camera.
I just wish we could do something to combat the amount of people camping out in the left lane...ugh.
