I thought that there already is a shuttle from Woodberry to the Avenue. No matter, hardy souls can hoof it up the steep hills. If said hardy souls are out of shape, they can start catching their breath again when they reach Falls Road.

Then they can dodge the fast-moving masses of steel to arrive at The Avenue alive.

That which doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

I live in Brooklyn and commute to Annapolis five days a week. I haven’t been effected by crime in the year and a half I’ve lived here. A lot of it is petty crime, drugs, breaking into cars, we haven’t had any packages stolen but that is a thing.

Brooklyn is considered a “rough” area but in my experience it’s just a working class neighborhood. Locus Point is definitely nicer but pricey. I would look for something that’s near a major highway so you aren’t adding to your commute. For me it’s about 35 minutes to get there and maybe 45 to get home.

Not 100%, but they definitely didn't help marginalized groups. Poverty is a monster that devours and destroys whatever it touches and it can be caused by poor personal decisions. However, the moves from the post WWII housing lenders and government of the time manufactured much of the poverty that affects the cities in America. Baltimore just looks harder hit because of the city's racial makeup. The practices I mentioned (redlining, blockbusting, etc) were designed to primarily target blacks. In a majority black city, the effect is seen in greater detail and in a wider span.

>same tropes that were expressed in the Kerwin report My current take away is that the Blueprint is nothing by old wine in new skins.

This is as far as I read because it's pretty clear you don't understand what the Blueprint is if that's at all surprising.

The Blueprint is meant to be the plan to enact the recommendations etc. that were in the Kerwin report.

But it's pretty laughable that you think the Kerwin report was recommending business as usual. There's a ton of recommendations in their that would be pretty big shocks to the system.

Edit: Reading more you seem upset that we're not putting kids on a technical path... earlier? You really should see the school system in place now if you don't think these are seismic shifts.

This is THE answer.

Pitamore makes the best falafel I've ever had. Hands down.

I started going here when it was Cilantro and in Owings Mills. Then they moved downtown and closed OM and I was heartbroken. Now, everytime I'm downtown, I go for lunch. It's sooooooooo good.

What. Kind. Of. Writing. Do. You. Do?

Are you a recent English major grad looking to get started in novel writing? Have you been watching the wire and wondering if any people from Baltimore helped write that television? Do you dream of going out to Hollywood and doing the big new screenplay that gets you an Oscar? There are dozens if not hundreds of little subfields for the concept of writing.

It's like asking if there any opportunities to cook. What do you cook? Are you a pizza chef, have you been making sushi your whole life, are you a grill master?

You got to give us something here, dude.
