When I saw this I said "wait, snow-pocolypse was only 7 years ago?".

No 2010 was the one I was remembering. Snowed into my buddies house with our 4 best friends. Making igloos to smoke weed in. Video games for days.

The good ol days of high school.

The New Green Room Billiards on north Point Blvd is about as old school as you are gonna find, and I am pretty sure smoking indoors is banned statewide so you shouldn't have to worry about that.

This was my dog’s first snow storm after we adopted her. Still love to watch that video of her first steps out the door and falling in love. Neighbors all came together to shovel out the back alley and then threw a big party. Shoveled lots of walks and left my car in the garage at work for two weeks and just walked about an hour each way to avoid the fight over parking. Had a pretty nice time and felt good about my neighborhood.

Not part of the LGBT community but I live in Mt Vernon and I think it would check off your boxes. Several LGBT friendly bars on the western side of the neighborhood as well. We feel safe here, lots of shops, wide range of restaurants, the Walter’s art museum is nearby and free!

No more so (probably less so) than Hampden, FWIW.

We live on the last block of a cross street before the western border. It's a little grungier over here, but not in a way that's ever felt dangerous to me. I run by myself in the early morning all the time, used to walk by myself to the hardware store when we had one. However, I'm a father of a 3-year-old so I'm never out past 9PM, and can't really speak much to what it's like at night or for a woman.

I'll say the bike commute to Hampden is dead simple, especially if you want to invest in an e-bike to give you a little boost up hills.

The one thing I would ask is will you know people in the city? If you're up by the NW corner of Bolton Hill you are far from the going-out spots in Mt Vernon / Midtown / Station North. Hampden is far enough away that you will have to uber home if you are drinking.

If you're living by yourself, Bolton Hill, especially up towards the NW, might not be the best neighborhood for your first year in the city. It's mostly MICA students (who keep to themselves for the most part), families, and retirees - not the best environment for building up a friend group.

The dollar value of net excess generation shall be equal to the generation or commodity portion of the rate that the eligible customer-generator would have been charged by BGE averaged over the number of months the account was been net negative. For customers served by an electric supplier, the dollar value of the net excess generation shall be, if available, equal to the average generation or the commodity rate the customer would have been charged by the electric supplier of record. BGE will contact the electric supplier and they will provide the rate.

Selling RECs is where you'll make more money from a home solar system though.
