My husband and I are climbers. He set up an anchor system in our attic so I could safely shovel snow off of a sketchy/weak part of our roof while harnessed. That was a fun day.

Stephanie Rawlings-Blake mishandled that so horribly. The first plow I saw on my street was 10 days after it snowed. Main roads weren’t even three days later. I don’t know what went wrong there, but it was more than just there being a lot of snow.

Was just going to say this. I live here (ok, straight woman) and it's super LGBTQ friendly, great shops and restaurants, beautiful architecture, great location. Welcome!

Do I remember yes, yes I do. Do I want to forget spending 2 weeks moving snow? That answer is also yes

Canton, Fells Point. Some friendly bars I’ve been to are The Manor and No Way Rose

Every year my fiancé and I make a bet when the first snow will be. This year I chose January 3rd. It was 70 degrees.

I’m starting to think we’ll never get snow again. If we do get a storm this year, I’m giving everyone a dollar that comment on this and think otherwise🤣

The Brass Tap is a 3 min walk. It just your average bar but they have a large spirit and ale variety. They are known for their mimosas so have some bartending skills. Good reviews!

Mt Vernon area, very gay friendly. Close to the Charles Theater, Penn Station, and gay bars.
But in general Baltimore is pretty gay friendly.
ECPops in Ellicott City and Fells is also owned by a gay couple.

I’m a student at MICA. We have security at the front of every building as well as patrol cars that drive/park around campus - you can flag them down if need be. Most of the area is well-lit at night, I’ve walked home countless times very late without incident. The most that I’ve heard of happening here is infrequent robbery (we get emails about crime directly around campus). Just be aware of your surroundings.
It’s a very friendly and serene neighborhood from what I’ve seen. Lots of people walking their dogs, and the Park Ave park sometimes has people selling clothes/items/furniture/etc

I still get mail for Hopkins students that rented from the previous owner and weird Libertarian mailings for the owner before that. It's so annoying, and I just write return to sender.
This is an upgrade from where I used to live. There I kept receiving parking and speeding tickets for the previous resident.

My roommate and I took a thermos full of spiked hot chocolate to federal hill park and went sledding toward the avam. Good times.
