You must go a little further than DC

This looks to me as a photo take in the old country. My boss once owned a house in Union Sq.
He found a couple of 19th century photos. One was a portrait of a German man, and one was a family standing behind a casket, in front of a church in Easter Europe.
When I see an old photo and every one in the photo looks like they were cut out of the same bolt of cloth, I think Old country. Once they get to America, inter marriage make groups of people look like a patchwork quilt.

I took some classes at Baltimore Chef Shop in Hampden a few years back. I think they went online during the pandemic, and I’m not sure what their status is now, but I’d definitely recommend them.
I also took a calligraphy class that was a lot of fun. Local calligraphers and artists will usual host events at breweries or art studios sometimes.

Baba’s Mediterranean Kitchen in Riverside/Locust Point. Not exclusively Lebanese food but lots of crossover, and the owner is just the best. Amazing food and friendly vibes. BYOB.

Maybe they should change the name of the neighborhood to Stoneberry 🤔

First thing that comes to mind is definitely Lebanese taverna in harbor east. Haven't been there in a few years, but I remember it being pretty good (but a bit pricey).

Another vote for Lebanese Taverna. If you get takeout make sure to get their dough so you can have fresh bread with leftovers.

Were you seeing Jim Gaffigan? How was he? My wife and I are going tonight! We’ve seen him a couple times but I’m interested to hear some new material!

If you like board games, The Hampden Board Game Club gets together every Monday at 6pm at Frazier's in Hampden.

Hobbies are the best way to meet friends, and a diverse group of friends at that. My hobbies have given me friends from high school age up to retirement.

Station North Tool Library does a lot of great classes that are very fun and a great way to learn some new skills.
I took the kitchen knife making class back in the first year they started offering it and had a blast. Learned a ton, met some cool people, and left with a new set of skills that I've used to make custom gifts for friends and family several times since.

What kind of engineer? There are many different kinds: mechanical, civil, electrical, computer, etc.
