Maillard is fine- but I was a tad disappointed by their croissants (not as buttery as other places). I do need to go back to double check.

Amen. Love their stuff…bring a mask (they have them if you forget).

Haha! I wish! They’re judging me for interrupting nap time by making fart noises and taking photos.

I think Wiley's opens at 5 on weekdays. Great spot though.

It rotates too - for a while there was an excellent BBQ truck there as well.

This is the best option in terms of quality of cocktails, but it is about a half-mile schlep up Cathedral, sections of which are kind of a blah walk (that whole MLK / Park / Biddle mess around the symphony)

Brewer's Art or Royal Blue, hands down. Owl Bar is OK.

They do cocktails at Noona's, just a little ways down Mt Royal.
CookHouse in Bolton Hill is about a half-mile from the Lyric, and a little $wankier than Noona's, if you want to uber there for cocktails and then walk to the show.

Sugarvale is walkable, a little further than the other options but for cocktails is a good bet

Big Bad Wolf’s House of BBQ in Hamilton! It’s insane how ridiculous their grilled chicken sandwiches and Mac and cheese are. I mean all of it is fantastic but those two are big stand outs.

This really is the only option for regularly discounted tickets. There might be more discount opportunities in the future but for now it’s Friday’s after five.

Oooooh - I was thinking about the literal size of the place as a "hole in the wall" rather than popularity - oops lol
