I like to imagine we are a little backwards swirl going to order in the grand big swirl pattern that overall tends towards entropy.

Why does it release "happy chemicals", evolutionary shouldn't it be the opposite? if you're not getting enough air your body should logically panic and attempt to get more oxygen instead of inducing a state of happiness.

Evolution is random. Sometimes outside circumstances guide this randomness, sometimes it doesn't. (or the mutation coincides with another mutation that is more actively selected for)

Interesting, those conspiracy theorists would be making the exact same mistake as the witch hunters

No real science ever confirmed this theory.

The blood will still flow up to the point where the artery was cauterized. Then it will turn around and go back to your heart just like all the other blood.
I had one of my toes amputated, the blood still works there just like my other toes. That ones just shorter now.

Those categories are not unambiguous either.
Bioluminescence produces light at all wavelengths of the visible spectrum.

Would an amputee (or double, triple, quadruple amputee for eg) have increased blood flow to the rest of the body since there is less "body" that the heart needs to pump to? Or does the heart just work less hard?
Are there positive/negative side effects because of this?
