You're not wrong, but going for a walk isn't the same if you have to first get in your car and drive to the place where walking is nice.

Every neighborhood in Worcester should be walkable. Every person in Worcester should be able to take a safe and relaxing walk from their front door.

So I won't say you're wrong all of these are great options but you have to get there and that's the problem. You can drive there easily, but as someone who is a runner in this city, I can attest that the sidewalks are terrible and incomplete. So just walking out your door and taking a walk isn't feasible for a large number of people in this city.

Apart from a few streets Worcester isn't that bad for walking, especially since you can take the bus downtown for free.

When you say "area", you mean inside the city of Worcester correct?

I only have one friend who is living comfortably in Worcester, but he is a stay at home video game developer.

I also have a few friends that own homes and are financially comfortable, but just want out of the city for x y and z reasons.
