FIOS is incredibly disappointing. I've had both FIOS and Spectrum, and Spectrum is the best by far. FIOS never delivered the advertised speed and outages were quite frequent. Lots of hidden fees too.

Comcast is actually better than FIOS, and that's not saying much considering that my AT&T 5G is better than Comcast.

Screw corporate broadband. Municipal broadband is the better option.

There were actually two different Mexican restaurants at that location, I can't remember the names but the food was really good. One of them served guac, salsa and chips as an appetizer. One time a friend of mine asked for something spicier and said something like " Nothing is too hot for me". The wait staff brought a another bowl of salsa and said he should be careful but he shoveled a chipful of the salsa and immediately chugged a pitcher of water. He said he thought his heart stopped. The wait staff said " We call that one napalm". I think a lot of this social anxiety could be eased with entertaining at home with a weekly potluck dinner with a dozen or so people. I met my wife at such a dinner a long time ago. We rotated houses and the host had to provide the main course, everyone else brought something. Bringing along someone new was encouraged and it was never dull. Over time the group grew so big we had to move it to restaurants. Like anything else, people come and go and it eventually came to an end but it was fun while it lasted.

This might get us the ability to ticket via camera drivers who run through the school bus flashing lights!

I used to work with the guy that allegedly shot the victim and I can say that I am 100% not surprised. He’s exactly the type of person that should not be allowed to own firearms. Ugh so sad.

Would you mind sharing a representative address? I live around the corner from Worcester State, was told by a Verizon worker Fios was coming, been seeing them work on Marcy, June, etc., but can’t find any addresses that come up with service available.

Last time this seat came up, there really was a sense that Rose was only there because Cipro was running. It's not surprising that he won't be running again, and he's making it known early, so as to give a non-Cipro candidate ample time to prepare.

Judging by the people in Worcester's municipal government all you need is a pulse. Sometimes, barely that.

I'm sure I will have moved by the time its actually available but this is nice. I used to live in an area where fios and cox were both available, so they had to compete. prices were low, speed was fast, and we rarely had outages.

Only certain areas will have access to Fios, they will roll it out slowly, so it doesn’t get congested and cause a massive backlash.
