Traffic can be a hassle, so I recommend living close to where you work if possible. West of 290 is a little nicer than East IMO--unless you're near UMass. I think Elm Park/WPI area is the best mix of safe, walkable, and attractive. I found my apartment through an agent (now retired, sadly) and it was 100% worth the fee.

Best wishes to Ziggy Bombs! As long as they make quality sandwiches, they shouldn't have a problem. I'm sure they'll end up doing killer business through GrubHub/DoorDash, too.

You may be able to get access to the Holy Cross football stadium. It's outdoors, of course, so weather could be an issue. But, there will be a lot of space for spectators and cameras if this record you plan on breaking is newsworthy.

I wouldn't recommend the glass building. The stairways are just nasty. The stairs aren't all in a row. There's multiple stories, so multiple landings. I'm not even sure if building visitors can even access the stairways.
