As an alum- the campus has grown significantly but has maintained their reputation and I’ve had good luck hiring graduates to know their stuff still.

It is a hard school in so far as a higher than average burn out rate, you have plenty of room to fail. If you ask for help you will get it but they won’t chase you to make you get help.

I think most places in Worcester, aside from maybe some townie Irish bars, are pretty trans-friendly. For things that are exclusively trans, though, I'm not so sure. I think Electric Haze might have some trans nights.

Ralphs diner is trans friendly and a bar. They have really great bands play there. Its a really diverse crowd there and different nights have different events. They do poetry slams on mondays, open mic comedies on tuesdays, karaoke on Wednesdays, then thursdays changes up, sometimes metal shows, punk, Harleys drag show, fridays and saturdays also have all kinds of bands play there. Even if you arent interested in the shows upstairs, you can hang out downstairs or on the patio.

I agree but very often demolitions create bigger eyesores. Worcester was once home to many mills and factories that eventually were demolished. There are hundreds of acres of empty lots covered by crumbling concrete, weeds and debris in Worcester. There are some that have been rehabilitated, are clean but empty. The majority are forgotten and unfortunately many are brown fields and expensive to rehabilitate and with no advantage to do so they remain as they are. Downtown real estate in Worcester is not very desirable The Denholm building can't attract tenants, what would a vacant lot do?

I guess I worded my initial post poorly lol. What I'm looking for is hangout spots by/for trans people to hang out with other trans people. Like a bar, club, that sort of thing. What I'm not looking for is support groups. We're both big foodies, we both play instruments and we're big theater people (mostly me)
