World Market is fantastic. They're the only folks I see carrying Walkerton spice rubs / marinades for jerk chicken - which is what they use at Scotchies in Jamaica. They're also the best for finding weird desserts too.

Dr. Michael Hirsh, folks may know him as the medical information lead for the City during the pandemic, has been telling us for weeks now about how the hospitals are being overrun by a combination of RSV, COVID, the Flu, deferred health care during COVID coming to the fore, and all the regular ER and hospital visits on top. It's happening all across New England by the way, but we're seeing it here in Worcester in a big way. It's scary as hell. Best advice he gave is no matter how long it takes to be seen, don't leave if you can stay, that way if something really bad happens at least you'll be in a hospital. I thought that was good advice. (Also get all of your vaccinations and take those proactive steps to stay out of the hospital in the first place).

Lilis glass shop or really any Asian shop has the most different sodas I’ve ever seen. I got peach Canada Dry ginger ale and Tropical Mix Sprite there for example

oh my god, you GOTTA get to the Asian Supermarket on Mill Street. they have plenty of interesting soft drinks with unique flavors, you just might not be able to read all the labels (unless you're multilingual!) be prepared to find fruit soda labeled with pictures of boy bands you don't recognize

This is an industry problem from what I’ve seen in articles.

“The underweight seafood from Gonsalves is part of a persistent problem in the industry, though the company says any mislabeling is unintentional. Typically, frozen seafood is coated with ice to keep it fresh and minimize freezer burn. Some businesses in the supply chain add extra ice and include it in the weight declared on the label. Retailers end up charging for the water, and shoppers pay more money for less fish. While individual shoppers are shortchanged in small increments, cumulatively, excess water in seafood is a serious issue.”

“Rather than looking at this as 30 cents here and 30 cents there, we should be looking at this as a $69 billion seafood industry and these practices could be costing the industry and consumers tens, if not hundreds, of millions of dollars in the end,’’

It's a trek, but I love Hosmer Mountain Soda in Willimantic, CT. https://hosmersoda.com/

Very old family owned soda company that sterilizes and reuses their glass bottles and has a lot of fun old school flavors. I know some grocery stores have them so maybe they are available somewhere closer but you might have to call and ask.
