I'm not too familiar about a hip hop scene in Worcester but great venues for doing your own things are Hotel Vernon and the Firehouse.

our kid started swimming lessons at Worcester Fitness when he was 2 or so. the coaches are friendly and the locker rooms are clean enough.

The Y, Worcester fitness has some decent instructors as well, British swim school in Paxton - small drive but great program.

The way Worcester handled the pandemic didn't help. On another note I remember there being foot traffic down down in the early 00s especially during the week when I first started driving. It was like a mini Boston.. now there are just small pockets of foot traffic mostly by the court house.

My son goes to lessons at The Y on Main Street. They do a great job over there too.

Check out the y. Honestly. The greendale branch has a great set of instructors

Yeah, it's a little different but when I was a kid in Main South it was a smaller place. There was a community then, you didn't know everyone but some stood out and their absence would be noticed. Caring about total strangers is a very human thing and I think we've lost a lot of that. There must have been something about this kid that people noticed.
