How does lowering their visibility actually stop that?

The tax increase is tiny. Less than $5/month unless you are wealthy enough to own a huge home. The benefits are more than worth the cost.

Yeah, it was wild. My sis is kind a ditz so I'm sure the bag was larger than she made it out to be (based on the flames) and my mom realized the car wasn't in park when we ran out so she GOT BACK IN to put on the e-break, literally pulled her out seconds before the whole thing went up. Not sure about insurance though. I'll ask her and update.

The money that would be used for affordable housing will affect such a small population if it even gets used for that. While the rest of get stuck with another reason for higher rent. No more taxes. Balance the budget.

But you can't claim corruption without any evidence of it. That's damned irresponsible.

Among the things question 5 does is create a pool of money to be used on affordable housing. Vote YES on Question 5 if you're concerned about the cost of rent.

It's the next county over, but some fun cider events going on over in Franklin County this weekend: https://www.ciderdays.org/
Some local breweries (Redemption Rock, Greater Good) host events pretty regularly, so worth checking their websites and social media.
New England Botanic Garden (formerly Tower Hill) seems to have some cool activities too: https://purchase.nebg.org/calendar.aspx

>I also find it hilarious that people think the people were bribed or something. It's a forced marriage.
This is a distinction without a difference. People are expressing that public input is a circus, we're not represented in this matter, the conclusion is foregone, and you're... saying the same thing but insisting on different words.
> Nothing but cable.
Another neat but meaningless trick, really. When these companies are severed so there's an ISP and a separate cable provider, then we can pretend these are separate contracts and services. They're all subsidizing their shitty, bloated cable service by driving up our internet bills. They're all respecting each other's regional monopolies, too; other ISPs won't move in to compete so long as Charter has a de facto monopoly on "cable" (and ISP) service.

As someone who lives on a very popular cut through that saves you 10 seconds of waiting at a red light. I wholeheartedly agree with you. People fly down my street like it's a quarter mile in Fast and Furious.
I also had $6k worth of damage done to my parked car by a hit and run driver. Probably would have a minor dent if they werent going 40mph(caught it on my dash cam).

They do. My in laws got a notice that if they don’t clear their leaves, they’ll get a $200 fine.

Unfortunately you missed most of the activity this year, things settle down with the weather as far as outdoor festivals/events, but this is a good starter resource: https://www.discovercentralma.org/see-do/events/

My problem is that they have the dates to put them out. And the last few years they don’t actually grab them until after it snows and the plows smear the piles up and down my street
