Reply to Indian lake area beware: there is an extremely aggressive and often loose German shepherd on proctor st by squid1980
Don’t be an idiot like me. My daughter was bitten by an aggressive dog in a neighboring town and I thought AC would take care of it. Turns out that around here nothing can be done to the dog unless you get a hearing with the board of health and it is declared a nuisance or dangerous. Work with your neighbors now and take action before the dog hurts someone.

It’s as nice idea as I believe the dog is only 1 year old and they clearly don’t know how to handle him but they didn’t even say sorry so not sure how receptive they’d be. Do you live close?

I’m not a runner at all but more just encountered this trail.
East-West trail goes through Worcester parks. It does look like it goes on various roads (no idea about sidewalks) but maybe someone else will know. Says it is about 14 miles.

I moved to Worcester recently and have the same problem. So far I've basically looped around the city more or less and try to stick to long roads like Main and Park.
I do run trail at Cascades as they have some loops you can double up on to get 6+ in. I've yet to find anything great.

I haven't seen those guys since college when they were driving around Boston in a white van. Glad to see they still have that entrepreneurial spirit.

Maybe we could all find a way to help the owner?

Regrettably I didn’t think fast enough and play along to get some evidence. All I said was I know what there doing, I’ve been hit up before.

I got hit up the first time about 20 years ago at White City. That’s how I recognized it this time.

The last person to see Scola alive was her estranged ex-husband who her friends claimed was abusive if I recall correctly. He also had a bunch of scratches on his hands after her death, which he said was from putting in a window AC. He was also a lawyer who worked with the DA, and the thought is that maybe prosecutors didn't go as hard as they could have into the investigation. Nobody was ever charged. Sad case. Not even like it was some big hush-hush thing, or conspiracy. If you read the T&G articles at the time, the cops and columnists basically come out and say what they think happened

It's a VERY old scam and tis the season for this scam, people in a parking lot looking to sell some expensive electronic item and they put bricks or phone books in the box to add weight.

Since you live in the area, if might be worth calling the Worcester PDs non emergent phone number and asking if they can have Animal control do something. Typically unless there is other complaints they advise the owner to properly fence or leash the dog when it's outside.

Im sorry i tried to like this podcast. I mean i gave it the most effort i have given any podcast. Its just not good. The episodes are 20mins of little to no info. Literally only discusses what you could find out by a quick google search of the cases. No investigation on the podcasts part, no talking to anyone involved with or close to the cases. Its just not a good true crime podcast.

Oh wow. Nothing got done even though she was bitten?! I don’t want anything to happen to the dog besides it being taken out of their custody and into a home that can handle him
