Uber and Lyft do dynamic pricing. I’ve used both from Logan to Worcester. Within a half hour of getting checked luggage, the prices are very high because lots of people are doing the same thing. I know this happens because I had a ride request accepted, and the car never showed. When I canceled and requested another ride, the price went down by more than $100. YMMV
