  1. Damn, we'll never get to see them crisp their crust up a little more and actually make a real good pizza.

  2. So before the dust even settled from the Hangover/Bucks/Smokestack/Maddi's closings, Glazy Susan, The Muse, Lulu's Bakery, Beirut Bite, and now Paesano have all closed. Yikes.

We literally ordered food the day before it closed and nothing was different. I only knew it was the next day because my friend wanted the specific sandwich I had and I was going to bring it to her. Crazy.

Public transpo: bus or ride share. Best social places seem to be the bars on Shrewsbury street and sports venues at DCU center/woosox stadium. It seems rather chill here, I'm a transplant from Upstate NY. Where folks are kind but very introverted. People seem to want to engage in conversations more here than where I'm from (and it still catches me off guard when I am out and about).

One of my friends who runs an MSP (outsourced IT services) in the area said that a ton of his restaurant clients have been “quiet closing”. He said he’s down to 3 restaurant clients from his 20+ he had before the pandemic and he’s lost more “post-COVID” than he did during COVID. A bunch didn’t even tell him, their freaking IT person, they were closing, just suddenly stopped paying invoices or answering calls.
