Have you engaged an exterminator?

Over the years, I’ve repeatedly done @all@ the do-it-yourself over-the-counter remedies. Snap traps, poisons, plugging entry points, water buckets for drowning, glue boards, cats, obnoxious odors which supposedly deter them, costly electronic frequency devices to scare the mice away, etc. Have spent multiple hundreds of dollars in the attempt in any one season on my own and still failed to solve it.

Or, simply call the exterminator (we use ProTech) and for a couple hundred bucks they came and properly applied human-safe pet-safe baited traps. In a couple heavy years their first visit did NOT completely solve the issue but it didn’t matter since they come back free of charge until it’s taken care of. They know @where@ to place the traps and poisons as opposed to my inefficient approach. They examine exterior of house to locate the real entry points and then they fill it with silicon/etc

This is Worcester in Winter. They're going to find where it's warm. They can get in a place through the smallest cracks and holes. Apartments and multi-deckers will likely be rife with them. Not gonna lie, my last flat was the Happy Hunting Grounds for our semi-feral cat.

My therapist told me that my intermittent chest pain was anxiety as well, I was heavily into rock climbing and body building as well. It was like a sharp sudden pain right over my heart on my left pec, so it was quite concerning. Had a stress test done and a 24 hour ekg, they told me that cardiowise i was in excellent shape.

If you drink a lot that can seriously exacerbate the anxiety as well, coffee too. I cut down on both and the pains almost never happen anymore.

You may not have a pcp but you can start making appointments easily enough? Just make sure the doctor accepts your insurance. Start googling and calling around. I just got a new pcp at the sterling branch of st vs

Yes I am a weigh lifter and very physically healthy. Age 25. I have anxiety and my life coach has always told me the intermittent chest pain was anxiety. I recently switched to a licensed therapist and she said it’s not safe to just assume chest tightness is anxiety and she wants me to get checked out but I don’t have a pcp.

I'm in the Fitchburg area Facebook group and the mayor gets constantly ripped on. Honestly the entertainment value is worth being a member.

The mayor has been present for any new business that opened but I think only a handful have survived so far. There is a new bookstore coming to the downtown that I hope does well but we'll see.

If you’re into waterfowl check out the new wooden boardwalk at Coes Reservoir. There’s one section of deck (towards the tiny parking lot at the end of Circuit Ave North) that was designed specifically for bird photographers.there’s a set of angled slats designed as a more artistic bird blind, so said the construction worker). (it’s that bit on the right of this photo). I’ve also seen the occasional eagle that roosts around there.
