You know that is certainly possible given the proximity of the hospital. The scary part was that we all went (several cars ) on all sides of the intersection. It was bananas.

Yikes ! Not that particular issue. But the light at grafton and Franklin had the green light staying green for like only 1.5 seconds. This was happening a few months ago.

> Yesterday I was driving through the intersection of art 9 and plantation street and apparently we all had the green light at the same time because all of us went at once. It was terrifying. Has this ever happened to any of you at any big intersections in Worcester? Thank you.
Never recall it happening to me, but is it possible that you didn't see an emergency vehicle?
Wonder if it's also possible that a light changed was forced by an upcoming emergency vehicle shortly after a light change which wasn't noticed by people at that light.

They’ll issue a resident parking permit no problem. I got a ticket from parking on a main Street as well didn’t realize the Permanent winter ban started

There is a process to amend the document that you allude to.

Only the Cresco liquid live resin 1g carts though, the rest of the 1gs from Select, Rythm, High supply, etc can all be gotten at other dispensaries in the area for around the same price. Sunnyside for example has tons of 1g Rythm and select carts for $50+tax. That's the same price that clear sky sells them at..

It's more commentary that we need to improve our public transportation. Everything is centered around using a vehicle to travel long distances for work, food, & entertainment.

I don’t understand this comment. Drunk drivers should be allowed because it would be detrimental if they lost access to a vehicle?

yep, it's a permanent ban on that street
Most streets here don't need parking permits, I'd look and see if any neighboring streets have it. If you do need one, the place to go is here: https://www.worcesterma.gov/parking/residential-parking-program

Looks like your street has a permanent ban from Dec 1 - March 31st. You can check the streets around you here: https://www.worcesterma.gov/streets/winter-weather/winter-parking

Clear sky is the best, cheapest 1g carts out there

My two cents:
Mission, Resenate, and Mayflower are places you go to for lesser quality but good deals if you think their product are nice. Good Chem and Botanist have great quality very often but not every time. Trulieve (aka Clear Sky / Blue River Terps) literally killed an employee through negligence and is one of the worst MSO's around that practices incredibly scummy business that literally fights to give them a monopoly / keep smaller companies out / lobbies against the right to grow at home. They have some good stuff but giving them money is basically helping to make the cannabis industry worse in the US.
Sunnyside, Diem, the Vault, Major Bloom, and other places are very much hit or miss depending on what you buy - most of what comes from their personal stuff is mids quality IMO (or they only wholesale from others). And if you like their stuff, no judgement on you because we all have our tastes but I've yet to see anything from any of these places that has impressed my cannabis snob tastes.
It's a schlep, but I do recommend checking out Local Roots out in Sturbridge for their hash and flower or products from Bountiful Farms out in Natick are very often excellent as well. Of course, lots of great caregivers and small dispensaries in Maine and there's even a few small batch places that sell to a couple of the RI dispensaries (although that's definitely a pain in the dick to go through).
Home grown is the way to go. For newbies, get a 2x2 or 3x3 space in your home, get a cheap growtent setup with a LED, buy some cheap supersoil like Ocean Forest, and plant a few autoflower seeds or clones you get from a dispensary. Water for a few weeks, once in flowering or flipping to flowering get yourself a cheap organic bloom booster and feed once a week. Keep the temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s in the tent while your lights are on. That's it. You too can have 3-6oz per plant yields and be growing for like $10/oz of whatever strain you want. ...And then after enough practice and runs, you'll eventually get it down cheaper and cheaper and better and better quality.

Holy shit, I’ve only heard racists/bigots use that phrase in that context. It’s messed up that you would so readily go there. I’m blocking you for that reason, you don’t deserve to be heard.

A simple Google search gave me this as the top answer to whether or not a DUI checkpoint is legal in MA: https://www.massdefense.com/what-are-your-rights-at-a-dui-checkpoint/#:~:text=Like%20it%20or%20not%2C%20sobriety,as%20well%20as%20interview%20you.
It's legal. People might not like it and I'd argue it's a chance for cops to be unnecessary dickheads, but it's 100% legal and it's asinine to pretend it isn't. I can't believe you demanded a source for something so inherently easy to look up and then call folks a bootlicker for being incredulous that you think such a common practice is illegal.

Are people who have a problem with the police saying they don't want any police at all? Are people who think police are too often violent trying to say that cops should never, ever use force?
Disliking the methodology of catching more OUI drivers isn't the same as being pro driving under the influence.

It was just a declared parking ban Street last year but they must’ve changed it. My building is literally on that street and I don’t have a driveway so I don’t know what they expect me to do for parking. They better issue me a parking permit to park on one of the side streets.
slopezski t1_j37d2el wrote
There is an overnight winter parking ban after Dec 1st on a good number of streets and I wouldn’t be surprised if that street is one of them. They obviously can’t hit every street every night so sounds like you got unlucky. You’d likely have better luck parking on a side road.

The State Police are actually very concerned that people keep calling out their stolen OT. They'd like if you all stopped asking questions and and let them abuse their power in peace

Have you tried Habibi market on Lincoln St? Not sure if they have what your looking for but it's the closest thing I have seen in Worcester to that Bodega feel.
