I was born and raised in San Diego, lived there nearly 30 years, love to visit, but I’d never live there again…

IMO the weather isn’t better unless you prefer hot and dry… and you can find that elsewhere for a lot less money.

Done! I used some cut/paste as well as adding my own:

"Psilocybin treatment is increasingly acknowledged by the scientific community as being instrumental in achieving positive outcomes by many people who suffer from post traumatic stress disorders and depression. This can be a valuable tool for many. Please consider supporting the passage of this legislation. Eventually I would prefer full legalization, as has been done with marijuana. For the record, I have never use Psilocybin in my life, but I believe it has a huge benefit for veterans and those suffering with PTSD, so having the option in the medical toolkit would be fantastic for those who suffer."

I've been scouring seattle for about 5 months now, and there are lots of good houses that are completely remodeled and can be had for around $650k-$750k in the 1400-2200sqft range. All within 20 minutes of downtown (Shoreline and Northgate being the farthest areas I searched.)

You aren't looking hard enough.

Olympia used to be pretty affordable, but even being in a dual software dev household is making it hard to buy now. A buddy bought his house about 5 years back and is getting offered 200k more than is reasonable. It’s a mess.

First time home buyer assistance, or FHA loans where you don’t need 20% down. Then having no other debt so you can afford the monthly payment lol

COL matters. Bought my first home on the east side of the state with $5000 due to grants, then sold for a profit to buy on the west side.

for profit prisons should be illegal. If we could close those then we could make laws and punishments that help society instead of providing capitalists with slave labor. The 14th amendment did not get rid of slavery, it made it legal if you are a prisoner. After the 14th amendment Pinkerton forces were formed to catch black people and immigrants breaking "town laws, codes, statues" in order to imprison them for free labor. This expanded into Police forces. Sheriffs are supposed to be here, cops not so much. Cops are the slave catchers for Americas continual use of slave labor so UNICOR can make half a billion in sales every year. Prisoners produce 11 billion worth of goods every year
