But in many states once marinol came out they did away with any plans for legalization cuz they could point to it and say “there you go, it has all the same effects but without giving you reefer madness or distrusting our supply of slaves”

Nah fuck this. Not paying thousands of dollars so some quack who sponsored the bill can cash in.
This isn’t about medicine it’s about freedom. The government shouldn’t be telling you what substances you can and can’t put into your own body, we recognize bodily autonomy in so many other ways just not this one.

My mom was a Nurse in snohomish County. She would regularly get verbal abuse from people denying COVID, people in need of mental help, drug addicts, etc. It's rough and idk if just hiring more nurses is the answer

If the city can’t control drug addicts, mental health sufferers, and homeless, healthcare workers have to bear the brunt of their abuse. My friend works security at a Seattle hospital. He has to deal with an enormous number of abusive patients who clearly need mental help - not medical - and him and the staff are powerless mostly because of policies designed to avoid liability, or policies that try to treat violent patients with compassion

How can you afford buying a car but not paying a fine or getting insurance and registration?

It’s about education and not every teacher is corrupt. But have one of those teachers try and tell both sides of Covid in any curriculum and they will be fired and/or have funding cut.
UW has more prominence on a resume, specifically the medical line of business, l but WSU has its specialities like engineering and military related careers.

Saying insurance is a scam is ignorant. What insurance does is protect from you from being sued if you cause a wreck where there is property damage or loss of life. All you'll be out is your premium instead of having your livelihood financially destroyed or going to jail.

Sounds like you got what you deserved.
What do? Become a responsible adult, that's what do.

I'm assuming you paid cash for the car? Because unless the car is financed, you don't have to carry anything more than liability insurance, which generally is not too bad (depending on what type of car, your driving record, and the area you live). If the car is financed you have to carry full coverage.
Do have your day in court, and they may defer your ticket or let you pay in installments. But in general that won't happen if you don't bring proof of insurance with you.

Take the L on this one. You were obviously in the wrong. The judge probably won’t be lenient on you considering that stack up of offenses. In the future, having insurance and tabs is usually, collectively cheaper than getting a ticket for them and then also having to pay for them afterwards anyway. If you get insurance and tabs you might be able to get a reduction on those parts of the fee, but the seatbelt one you’re SOL.

Is the problem the hospitals not hiring nurses? Or is the problem nurses don't want to be treated like trash

Still bummed the last one didn't get through. We should have been the leaders here instead of following Oregon and Colorado.

I’m still going to vote yes but I’m curious on how it’s been for Oregon so far.

Reply to comment by bulletproofblonde in Anybody from Pasco, WA? That's sort of where I grew up, left in 2004 and haven't returned for 18 years. I found a photo of my eight grade class from 1999-2000 at Isaac Stevens. About 10% of the picture was eaten by fungus after sitting in the attic for so long. If you're in the pic, we probably met. by Voracious_Port

You can read the bill here. It doesn't do that. At all.

And here we stand with talk of federal cannabis legalization.
