I’m all for using the correct names for things. If this was truly the intent, I think the crime is Criminal Sabotage.

That said, intent is often difficult to definitively prove.

While my daughter, little miss lead foot was on our insurance we made her pull money out of her own savings account to hire this Attorney gal to get her tickets reduced to non speeding violations. She spent about $2400 on 10 or more tickets. Some people never learn. She is 28 and still gets tickets.
