It looks like you shared an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of concerns over privacy and the Open Web.

Thank you. That actually looks like a good alternative to the coast, and it's only two and a half hours from me. I'll check it out.

Camping is unfortunately out of the question since my three-year-old can't even get through a night in our tent in our backyard.
I was really hoping for suggestions for b aches and stuff to go to, and then spend the night in a hotel.

I'm game... feel free to send a small sample my way to see if we are on the same page and we can go from there. Lived in WA most of my life.

Somewhere in Olympic National Forest would likely be good for stargazing. You might consider finding a campground in the forest to stay at.

This is very astute. You're wise for doing this. Wish I could help, but I'm sure another Cascadian with more time can step in.

Goldendale has an amazing sky and a cool observatory. It’s worth the money in gas and accommodations.

It is a employee benefit and really helpful! But we’d never use for a ticket, personally.

Rick Merrill attorney out of Everett I usually pay him 200$ an he goes to court for you 9 times out of 10 gets it dismissed or lowered to non traffic violation this price was 5+ years ago but google him call him ask him definitely worth it to keep your driving record clean & lower insurance costs.

One time I saw that mountain with pink clouds, hanging low enough that the mountain casted a shadow upon the clouds. It was an incredible sight, I've never seen a mountain cast a shadow on clouds before. The calming color of the pink and orange clouds, swirling in their playful fluffs- as if they swirled like milk pouring through coffee. The sun hung low, perhaps that's what made the shadow so long, as the mountain's tip disappeared behind the clouds. I'll never forget the view, as I drove through town, as I drove through fields, but perhaps what sight I favored most, was the face of awe on my friend's faces. Only by chance were they also in the car, and lucky did they get as they wouldn't have seen it otherwise. There will never be sights as enjoyable as could be, without friends to share it with. I wish I could hear them asking for a share of snacks one more time as our eyes stared onwards, perhaps... I shall talk to them soon, once I'm well rested.

I was recently googling the same thing, except southern Washington because seeing the milky way is a bucket list item for me. One place that came up i want to try is the Johnston ridge observatory. Far from light pollution and a big open parking lot. Not sure how far that is for you, but its a idea.

I rented a room once from a guy who told me about his conquests that were in the 500+ area. I didn't think much of it but in the 6 months I was there I saw at least 13 people. This guy was 45+ so he'd probably been doing this for a while. So I'm guessing there are a few skewing the numbers higher.
I can see 55 being accurate.
