Commercial electrician (EL01) here with local 46
I worked some over time sprinkled in with a few sundays here and there ( double time)
I was on stand by for about a month in January , missed some work because of Covid , Went on a couple vacations. So a rough tally, I probably didn’t work for a little over 2 months this year.
I still cleared just over $130,000 gross.
However I still don’t see how anyone can afford to live in the city . That is just bonkers

>you felt it would be unsafe to come to a stop at that point due to road/traffic conditions
Don't admit fault for some other traffic violation, such as "driving to fast for conditions", to try and get out of the one you were cited for. That just asking for additional citation.

I don’t know what your skills are, but if you go to a technical college to learn how to be a plumber or electrician, or something like, you can make really good money. Those are careers that can’t be outsourced and is good most anywhere in the country.

Reply to Any WA state pharmacists or doctors able to answer a question on refills for controlled substances at a pharmacy? I'm just baffled now on why certain hoops need monthly jumping, and if it is corporate policy, state law, or Federal law. This is CVS and Swedish. by Seattle_Is_Wet
When a medication is considered a controlled substance auto refills are not permitted as per DEA guidelines/ policies. All stimulant ADHD medications fall under these guidelines. They have a high rate of abuse which is why. I am in the same situation, as everyone else on this, but add to that there is a nation wide shortage on ADHD medications and it's frustrating as hell. Only upside is my pharmacy and insurance coverage are the same entity.

Only when there's substantial low elevation snow (such as last week - but I would bet it's all melted now). Diablo Lake is only about 1300 feet above sea level, so it doesn't get nearly as much snow as you might think, and even when there is snow it's still plowed year round up to the Ross Dam trailhead so Seattle City Light can still access the dams. I've been up there when there was 2-ish feet of snow in the Diablo Lake overlook parking lot (and gated closed of course), but the main highway itself was totally clear and dry.

Really? Obviously I haven't done any planning yet. I assumed roads would be impassable or at least unpredictable part of the year.

Thank you, yeah it doesn’t matter if it turns red while you’re in the intersection, as long as it was yellow at the time you entered the intersection. Case closed you should not have gotten a ticket.

We’re north of Maine. Most people don’t realize that until they get here. We’re Alaska South. Those of us who grew up here don’t even notice it. And for housing? We didn’t want to be Southern California so we adopted the Growth Management Act. Yes housing prices suck, but urban sprawl ain’t as bad. It’s pick your poison.

In Washington a driver may enter an intersection on a solid yellow light and it is of no significance if the light turns red before the vehicle exits the intersection. RCW 46.61.055. If you choose to challenge the infraction your likely to prevail on these facts.

Pro-tip: you don't need to wait until summer to go to Diablo. The road is open year round to the Ross Dam Trailhead, and there will be far fewer people up there before it gets warmer.
