Commercial electrician (EL01) here with local 46

I worked some over time sprinkled in with a few sundays here and there ( double time)

I was on stand by for about a month in January , missed some work because of Covid , Went on a couple vacations. So a rough tally, I probably didn’t work for a little over 2 months this year.

I still cleared just over $130,000 gross.

However I still don’t see how anyone can afford to live in the city . That is just bonkers

When a medication is considered a controlled substance auto refills are not permitted as per DEA guidelines/ policies. All stimulant ADHD medications fall under these guidelines. They have a high rate of abuse which is why. I am in the same situation, as everyone else on this, but add to that there is a nation wide shortage on ADHD medications and it's frustrating as hell. Only upside is my pharmacy and insurance coverage are the same entity.

Only when there's substantial low elevation snow (such as last week - but I would bet it's all melted now). Diablo Lake is only about 1300 feet above sea level, so it doesn't get nearly as much snow as you might think, and even when there is snow it's still plowed year round up to the Ross Dam trailhead so Seattle City Light can still access the dams. I've been up there when there was 2-ish feet of snow in the Diablo Lake overlook parking lot (and gated closed of course), but the main highway itself was totally clear and dry.

We’re north of Maine. Most people don’t realize that until they get here. We’re Alaska South. Those of us who grew up here don’t even notice it. And for housing? We didn’t want to be Southern California so we adopted the Growth Management Act. Yes housing prices suck, but urban sprawl ain’t as bad. It’s pick your poison.
