It’s not bragged about because it wouldn’t be uplifting, the homeless problem just continuously gets worse down here. More trash and literal shit on the streets in all the major cities. Even nicer areas are seeing an increase in homeless. They don’t fix anything they just relocate the homeless. I saw it multiple times while going to college in riverside. All the homeless would get rounded up in white cargo vans by govt workers and dropped off a city or two over like in corona, etc.

Homelessness in our modern society is inexcusable. Thank goodness for people doing what they can to help.

I wonder if the friend who tried to fight the bear had also gone passive if the bear would have just left them alone. Brown bears don't really eat people, and the guy who played passive just got a broken arm. Guy who tried to fight got absolutely mauled. Either way, I'm glad both are going to be just fine.
Black fight back, brown lie down, white goodnight. Black and polar bears will eat you, but black bears are often small enough to fight off. Polar bears are far too big. Brown bears won't eat you, just fight until they feel the threat is over.

And if the onlinehome.us web host is hosting all these phishing sites, why don't they block stuff with return addresses from them? Traffic is business, criminal or otherwise.

There's also the difference in aggression; polar bears live in an arctic desert, where anything and everything that can be killed and eaten has to be in the name of survival.
That's why the loss of their habitat, causing them to flee southwards, has already led to human deaths.

The recommendation for dealing with a polar bear, if you have no weapon, is to run to water asap. Then dive in and inhale... It's a much better way to die than being torn to shreds, while being kept alive as long as possible.
