Don’t let happened to the rails in the US destroy Europe’s rails too!

Europe’s rail system is what impressed me most when I visited with a Eurail Pass and could travel anywhere with ease. The US got screwed by big corporate oil and the car/truck manufacturers in post WW2 when the country’s leaders were bribed into abandoning rail travel.

21% of companies, but not 21% of rail. Caledonian sleeper is what, two trains?

I think the guy that pitched it concluded with words to the effect of "clearly it's bad idea and a terrible waste of money, so we shouldn't go ahead with it".
They went ahead with it.

Sorry for the late response.
Good on your therapist. I dealt with debilitating anxiety for some time and outlets like controlled breathing and meditation were extremely helpful.
I find that critical analysis as a pathway to understanding is such a great tool for handling fear or anxiety. In the same way that understanding something magical often reduces that sense of awe, understanding something eerie [mortality] often reduces that sense of anxiety or fear.

Perhaps, however It’s also so darn expensive because they need to build bridges and under/over passes over every road and highway through the city. I bet if there’s a budget breakdown, that’s 80%+ of the budget.

My understanding is that they didn't get rid of the lead that was being used along the perovskite, they just sealed it with zinc and other materials too, or did I misunderstand?

This isn't really uplifting and I'll tell you why as bluntly as I can.
Outside of cosmetic surgery there's only two fields (not counting research on immortality etc) where medicine are allowed to capitalize on people for profit.
One is freezing eggs and fertilizing them for women, one is keeping early babies born alive.
Both seem great on paper, but research shows that the odds of these babies turning into people who enjoy healthy long lives is just not the case. I know that sounds insanely inhumane but as someone who was born into horrendous circumstances I've come to be one of those who do not give a shit about "parents right to a child" but rather a child's right to a good life. Even my ex who voted on the feminist-party here in Sweden (aka the most left you can get on any spectrum before going insane) instantly answered me when I asked her "What would you do if you got pregnant and the child had deformities?" - Without hesitation she said abortion. Because, especially in hippie-circles, there's tons of people who have lifelong problems. She told me she had had too many such friends attempt suicide and just live a life they never wanted that she didn't wish that upon anyone.
I'm not saying saving a life is wrong. I'm saying you aught to think about the life you decide to give someone. "What, should the parents just let the child die?!" well it depends on each case, and emotions are a huge factor for everyone...
But for me, this is almost like getting the diagnosis that your child will have a life rampant with health-problems and deciding to still go through with the pregnancy. Sure, it eases your conscience but I can't promise your child will be grateful for it.

Cool cool cool I was just in France and the rails were running perfect and smooth and they’re investing $100b to make it even better, meanwhile the US rail system is mainly for freight and can’t even successfully get that from point A to point B.

Perovskite solar cells could also be made so thin and flexible that they could be painted on windows, or entire facades in all sorts of colors. And because it is so light-sensitive, it is believed that in the future you could charge your mobile phone with ordinary indoor lighting if it was powered by perovskite solar cells.

Which railway infrastructure were you thinking of? I believe Network Rail owns every single station and every mile of track. HS1 might be an exception.
Are you confusing the railway franchises with the infratructure?
