It was going to happen eventually. Both horrible countries. Although hopefully Iran's revolution is successful

It's not. Guy lives in south Florida. Whether they know it or not, AC is least of their problems

It’s one side (the cooler side) of the natural cycle of ENSO (El Niño Southern Oscillation). Basically sea surface temperatures in the central/eastern tropical parts of the pacific swing back and forth from warmer to cooler than average.
This has impacts on large scale weather patterns by impacting things like the available moisture for storms, winds, etc..
Whether we are in La Niña, neutral, or El Niño doesn’t give precise weather forecasts. It just gives a signal to say certain types of events have a higher likelihood of happening.
You can read a little more here.

But an El Nino brings drought for us and it looks it'll have an even bigger impact next year.

>Everyone who rents submits to a similar situation you describe, lol. Want to put up a painting on a wall? Needs owners permission. Want to remove a plant or add a new one to the garden? Needs owners permission. The only "ownership" that is allowed under land owners is that which they grant.
>
>If that is some horrible dystopian nightmare, welcome to the modern world my friend
Renters don't own the land they live on, so they don't have ownership rights. I'm not sure why you think I'd have a problem with that. They do have occupancy rights and I think that's important too.

>The difference between myself and those other land owners is that I don't believe any of us should be able to profit from people living on land.
Cool, but what you said was "owning land is an absurd concept that should be done away with". Profiting from land ownership is a step further, and being against that is a much less radical position that I probably would be more inclined to believe that you actually hold.
Do you actually want to abolish land ownership entirely or just renting land/property for money?

It’s a global climate pattern, the opposition to El Nino events. This video explains it ok https://youtu.be/wVlfyhs64IY

How is being a holocaust survivor pertinent to the story? I don’t understand.

It's all part of the new world order. this line from the press release tells you what's up:
"...The deal, struck in Beijing this week amid its ceremonial National People's Congress, represents a major diplomatic victory for the Chinese as Gulf states perceive the United States slowly withdrawing from the wider Middle East. ....
Iran is OPEC's 3rd largest producer of crude oil and 5th largest producer of natural gas.
SA has 2nd largest oil reserves in the world. Between the two they have enough oil to last 200 + years each. Collectively a bit more.
tl;dr China is thirsty. Playing matchmaker/dealmaker ensures the taps stay open with multiple redundancies.

Sorry but I can no longer see these stories about how our dystopian society not taking care of people results in people needing to volunteer to do it as wholesome

You can socialize it. Nobody is stopping anybody from going in on a condo building where everybody owns and the condo association manages things.

Me too. I'd pay off mortgages, fix basements, pay for roofing, school stuff for kids, car repairs, new car, ect.
Edit: I'd start bank rolling non-profits that are trying to unfuck all the lobbying that's been done.

There is lots of socialized housing. Usually it involves a waiting list.
Like any business if there is substandard service the customers are free to choose a different business or supplier to support.
