Actually, I think I grabbed tomorrow's prices.
As for the sub-$100, that's long gone, including HSR projected pricing.
It seems like not that long ago I'd take the ONT-SJC flights for $89 like someone would ride the local bus, but it's been twenty years.

Also make sure they aren't asleep in bed.
One day as a child I was very sleep so I went to bed and took a nap. I woke up to a police officer in my room yelling to my mother that he found me, I was in bed.

Honestly all these situations remind me about how useful it is to have a ring camera in the house, if you lose a item you just had in your hands or a person you can scroll through hours of footage on your phone for the last location of said person or item. It helps people like me with scatter brain. Just dont become addicted to it and check constantly on stuff you shouldnt know about.

From birth? wow... Tough tax regime in the states then, getting taxed as an infant...
in the UK we start paying when we reach 18 and earn above a certain amount....

I understand that. I once toured across country on bicycle and I found a house an excessive want for a few years after. I simply wish our country would make it easier for people to make choices that don't result in criminalization or privation.
But more to my point, do you have what you need currently to live how you prefer?

Governments are formed to provide for the general welfare of their citizenry, among other things. 80 year olds being forced to work to keep up with rent is a clear societal problem that is negatively impacting the general welfare of the citizenry.
Not rocket science. Even if you just want to look at it from an economic angle you don't want older people having to work for longer and longer as you're bottlenecking jobs for younger people.

The costs will keep rising. I would not be surprised if it reaches 200 billion.

Here is a great read from the NYT on the complete travesty that is the CA high speed light rail.
My prediction is it will never go from LA to SF Bay Area.

I've found his music to be pretty enjoyable. "Loner" is a banger and "Polygraph Eyes" made me cry because I've had to take care of people who went through situations like that. Not to mention his colabs with Avril Lavigne, so much fun

And what would prevent him or the rest of the rescue team from ALSO searching the path on the right?

Came to a fork in a field? Seriously?
Come the fuck on. This is for uplifting news, not machine-written garbage.
Downvoted and reported.

My middle little brother did this OMG. He didn’t want to take a bath so he hid inside the house and was super-quiet. The rest of us were panicking. The police were called.

A few years ago, I was visiting Charlotte for the first time, with my gf (she grew up nearby). Looking for something to do, I checked to see if the Hornets were playing. Sure enough, game time in one hour, two tram stops away. Let's go! My first NBA game.
After the game, we're making our way to the exit, when I see a group of small kids posing for a picture. The photographer had official Hornets gear on. The kids are holding a banner that says "Our First NBA Game!" So I walk up to the photographer and say "hey, it's my first NBA game too!" And the photographer says "well get in the picture!"
So on the Hornets IG feed, there is a picture of a bunch of 7 year olds and one 40-something slacker looking dude, with big smiles on their faces, at their first NBA game...

Where are you getting $40 difference? For same day flight (today) I’m getting around a $100 difference between LAX vs ONT ($450 vs $550)
And we’re moving away from the “LA to SFO for under $100” price point at this point like the OP was claiming

It's too late for me. Help someone else.
Edit: I don't mean to sound ungrateful or pessimistic, it's been several years for me out here. I can no longer sleep inside, it fills me with a similar dread and anxiety one would have for sleeping outdoors. You sound like you want to help and I hope you have a nice weekend.
