Also make sure they aren't asleep in bed.

One day as a child I was very sleep so I went to bed and took a nap. I woke up to a police officer in my room yelling to my mother that he found me, I was in bed.

Honestly all these situations remind me about how useful it is to have a ring camera in the house, if you lose a item you just had in your hands or a person you can scroll through hours of footage on your phone for the last location of said person or item. It helps people like me with scatter brain. Just dont become addicted to it and check constantly on stuff you shouldnt know about.

I understand that. I once toured across country on bicycle and I found a house an excessive want for a few years after. I simply wish our country would make it easier for people to make choices that don't result in criminalization or privation.

But more to my point, do you have what you need currently to live how you prefer?

Governments are formed to provide for the general welfare of their citizenry, among other things. 80 year olds being forced to work to keep up with rent is a clear societal problem that is negatively impacting the general welfare of the citizenry.

Not rocket science. Even if you just want to look at it from an economic angle you don't want older people having to work for longer and longer as you're bottlenecking jobs for younger people.

A few years ago, I was visiting Charlotte for the first time, with my gf (she grew up nearby). Looking for something to do, I checked to see if the Hornets were playing. Sure enough, game time in one hour, two tram stops away. Let's go! My first NBA game.

After the game, we're making our way to the exit, when I see a group of small kids posing for a picture. The photographer had official Hornets gear on. The kids are holding a banner that says "Our First NBA Game!" So I walk up to the photographer and say "hey, it's my first NBA game too!" And the photographer says "well get in the picture!"

So on the Hornets IG feed, there is a picture of a bunch of 7 year olds and one 40-something slacker looking dude, with big smiles on their faces, at their first NBA game...

It's too late for me. Help someone else.

Edit: I don't mean to sound ungrateful or pessimistic, it's been several years for me out here. I can no longer sleep inside, it fills me with a similar dread and anxiety one would have for sleeping outdoors. You sound like you want to help and I hope you have a nice weekend.
