My sister with down syndrome did this many years ago. Scared the shit out of me. My three other siblings and I all ran out of the house to look for her.

Autism as well. Concerts can be fun but it's really easy to get overstimulated. I would definitely take advantage of a space like this if it was available.

going to Japan and being able to get nearly anywhere via train has made me bitter about the state of transportation In CA. you either pay a (usually exhorbant) fee to fly from places like LA to SF, or you tank the 6 hour drive and put miles on your car or pay up for a rental. Being able to travel across the entirety of Japan in 4 hours kinda blew my mind

Ugh these comments remind me of a case from Mexico in which a girl couldn't be located...she was eventually found at the foot of her bed :(
