Save? When medical bills can take your entire life savings in seconds? Save? When rent goes up astronomically each year and the housing market is so inflated that the only people that can afford them is corporations? Save when food prices and gas prices are higher than ever? Yeah ok. Lets just save for retirement. Most americans dont have much money to save anymore even for emergencies, let alone retirement.

I'm not sure I understand your post. He had to come out of retirement because his rent was raised, right? How did capitalism discard him?

I know why you're being downvoted, I just wish you weren't. I tend to agree with you. Many people believe social security is your retirement fund. It isn't. It's a supplement to it.

Sometimes I'll start a sentence and I don't even know where it's going. I just hope I find it along the way.

At over 100 billion in costs, that is 10 million per job created.

It's worse than that with the current interest rates for mortgages and construction loans. The developers can't charge less than cost and their cost has gone up yet a huge portion of the population can't afford it either. So not much gets built because developer is also analyzing who is going to buy from them. Short of rates going down which I don't think will happen, only the state can step in and possibly take over some of the government associated cost. I don't think they will do it however.

Sounds like a crock of shit. That doesn't incentivize people to try for better jobs and educate themselves and such.

Yeah and if that’s the case, it’s also likely you can’t do a good job of forcing yourself through the actual crop.

Not to mention that stagnant water from the go-to fishbowls lack the aeration needed to maintain healthy oxygen levels. The fish will literally suffocate. Don't use fish bowls, people!
