I hope their is a referendum put on the ballot against state interference in local zoning. In San Diego, developers can build eight story buildings without parking 25 blocks into neighborhoods.

That does sound like decent news?? Wonder what qualifies as low income in Cali though.

I did the LA->Auckland flight and back last year and they were definitely extremely nice. The plane, however, left a bit to be desired.

Any FB page that has boomers will be full of racists, should've seen when we had Te Reo language week. Whittaker's renamed their milk chocolate to Te Reo just for the week and there was a massive racist outroar on social media

I think it came from about 20 years of Dem governors...Lynch, Shaheen and Hassan. People wanted a change and Sununu comes from political royalty, here. Fairly moderate by today's standards. Not sure he's got much left in the tank, though

Admittedly the comments on the article on Facebook had many negative ones, sadly many people IRL have the same sentiment I’ve seen.

Yes especially with how involved his family is in conservation and education. Terri Irwin has always been incredibly underrated as a narrator, co-host, conservationist, etc.

Recently flew to NYC and it was my daughter's first flight, she's 9, she mentioned it to the cabin crew who was chatting to her. As we landed they handed her a certificate covered in stickers and signed by the cabin crew celebrating her first flight. She also got to hand out the lollies just before landing. It was so lovely. They also message during the night to see if you want hot panini's and chocolate cookies.

I live in Portland oregon, where I vote for some of the most liberal people in the country to hold office.
Yet, I can’t go to target down the street to buy diapers without stepping over needles. There’s over 6,000 homeless people on the street, and ravaging our public parks. Hearing gunshots is very normal now. So you tell me. Why are these “progressives” failing so hard to run a decent city?

Here is the chart based on family size. I can’t find the 2023 chart but it shouldn’t be that different.
Low income is 80% AMI or below.
