I thought blue states were sanctuary states for immigrants though.

They offload lots of bulky, short-term housing they no longer need and get 15 minutes of good press, but how much longer will these things last before they start falling apart??

He spoke at my college (maybe both of ours if the timeline works out) like 6 years back. Can confirm the book is a great read, and he's really a pleasant person to talk to as well.

Wes Moore spoke at my college before he was a politician. He talked about the experience of writing his book The Other Wes Moore, which is a fantastic read and one I highly recommend -- I've met few people who think about the issues their communities face as deeply or take them as seriously as he does. Maryland has a good one, that's for sure.

What have you done to help random people? Because if he didn't do anything, people like you would still complain.

Wish my governor would do something like this. There might be, but likely not. Quick Google search didn't bring anything up. But gotta bus migrants to blue states.

Not to mention the lack of EV production in the US. The new EV tax credit prevents foreign OEMs from benefitting through new EV imports, so the bulk flow of economical EVs has stalled. The only company this has seriously benefited so far is Tesla, who have the largest margins of any OEM by far.

I'm well aware. Hence, the analogy I made in my previous reply to the other user. It's almost certainly more than just PR. I agree that PR is likely a slight motivator.

You do know there are far more than 400 seniors in need of assistance in Atlanta, right? This is purely a PR move for him.
