As for #2, I believe NIO has swappable batteries, so you don't have to worry about that. It's also one of the options for charging the battery (battery swapping stations take 3-6 minutes for a full charge and is fully automized).

Yall would be amazed how many people are in this position and how many kids are just lonely with no friends, mostly cuz there's no where for them to go and meet friends.

FYI for all - there is an international organization called Best Buddies that matches typical people with people with disabilities to include them. It started in high schools, but it is expanding to the adult level. Anyone who wants to volunteer with them should go to bestbuddies.org.

I'm glad to hear this. I think I've always worried that people with certain disabilities must find it so difficult to make organic friends so I'm glad to hear an anecdote that disproves that...

A lot of people don’t realise how quickly the attitude to this word and its usage changed and come down on older folks for whom it was the kind, ‘technical’ term (and didn’t grow up with South Park…) too much like a tonne of bricks. But in this case the usage and intent are not nice at all…

More like when you friend buys some slaves to make something for him and he is done using it and you are in desperate, life or death, need for that something, and he give it to you. And then gets an article sucking him off for it in the media.

I would argue some of them are. In my mind, Tesla is the electric equivalent of a Lincoln. Technically gets the job done, but also mostly a flashy status symbol. As electric (and even just hybrid) moves into more common and accessible brands like Subaru, Toyota, and Honda I think we'll see that mind set continue shifting.

Hopefully the more of this type of "breaking news", the more it becomes standard and we don't need to hear about it. I'm happy for them, and still sad that we need to have these milestones when I sent to school with some of the smartest people I've ever met, and they were all women.
