Medical care shouldn't be distributed in a way that requires a teacher to adopt a child in order to pay for it

He definitely has free medical care through our state health insurance program and likely did right from birth. CT is really good about providing free health care to children and we have excellent hospital systems but lots of parents have a hard time taking care of their kids, even with support.
