Yesterday, Gene Valicenti made the COSTCO announcement on his morning radio program on WPRO, citing “solid sources”. After announcing that COSTCO was coming to the Chapel View area, targeted to “behind Shaws and next to Topgolf”, Valicenti interviewed the Director of the RI Department of Transportation, Peter Alviti, who talked about the development with familiarity, announcing the continuing adjustments to the Route 37 off ramp from Route 95 which will include an exit ramp serving Topgolf and a cloverleaf development north of that – presumably to handle COSTCO traffic. Alviti says COSTCO will be to the rear and to the side of Topgolf – “there’s plenty of room for it”.

Some of us work too hard for our money to be caught dead advocating for MSOs (Multi-State Operators) but thanks for playing. Fuck Sweetspot, Fuck RISE, and fuck anyone who puts MSO crap on our shelves like Rythm and all this other boof.

That stuff is TRASH. Support local cultivators and dispensaries that don't put Rythm and other crap on their shelves.

Do your research people. Stop giving your dollars to these booflords. If you absolutely have to for whatever reason, then at least buy local brands, not their shit.

edit: Downvote if you want but compare prices to Mother Earth/Aura/Slater and see how you're getting screwed over sometimes for local brands. Their own products undercut ours. This is an intentional strategy that MSOs do to ruin small craft. I seriously wouldn't shop at either RISE or Sweetspot and if you care about buying local, you shouldn't either.

I had USAA comprehensive for years. They’ll cover it. Just tell them that it happened during your coverage or you’re not sure when. They’ll send you to safelite, who will fix it with no money out of pocket and no increase in premiums.

They might not even replace the windshield. I just got a chip in my new car’s windshield the first week I owned it, and safelite simply filled it.

Beats being treated like cattle at RISE. If you aren’t medical at RISE you are second class. I got a good deal on their daily pop-up, and then the 20%, I will be back.

In Austin, there's a Costco a block away from a Sam's Club.

Hell, have you ever noticed that in a lot of places, there's a CVS and a Walgreens right across the street from each other?

Or all the places you can find an Advanced Auto Parts and an Autozone right next door?

Hells, here's a place where all 4 of those businesses are in the same map zoom: https://www.google.com/maps/@30.413726,-97.6913476,19.08z?hl=en

Just because there's already a wholesale club down there, doesn't mean a different one will avoid going in.

I did the partial hospital program twice when I was in my early 30’s. Everyone was super kind and patient. It really helped me to get a hold of my mental illness, and improved my day to day functioning.

Unfortunately, the very unhelpful landlord in the comments is correct, prices are outrageous—and like you now see, they’re unwilling to accommodate anyone that will make them any less than top dollar.

Do you have a car? Prices in Warwick were a little cheaper last I checked, but you’d likely be sharing a house as opposed to an apartment. Try networking with some friends to find a roommate, if you can.

I’d search the sub for other discussions about renting in Pawtucket, there’s plenty to read through.

As for something that has not been said, go to Newport Lobster Shack during the season. Very well priced and they have other good seafood as well. As others said, Anthony's in Middletown is great as well.
