Dealerships aren't going to give you a good amount, not to mention the price of used cars is finally coming down a little so now isn't the prime time to sell, which means dealerships aren't looking to buy tons of used cars like they were a year ago. However, if you really need to get rid of it, just sell it private party. You'll get much more for it.

If you are in Providence, any decent digital antenna should work. Put your info into rabbitears.info to get a map of what direction to point it, and try and put it in your attic or roof. The Channel 10 broadcast antenna is close enough that you should pick it up without pointing towards it. And a wide recieve antenna should pick up all the Boston stations - you don't need a yagi style.

I have a cheap antenna in my attic and pick up everything. On my mother's house in Bristol I used a yagi to guarantee reception of Boston stations and because the channel 10 broadcast antenna was within the 30 degree reception cone of the yagi antenna along with the Boston stations.

Those window mount flat ones are asking for disappointment if you want to pick up channel 5.

I used Carvana during Covid and they gave me way more than I was expecting and more than anyone else was offering site unseen. Super easy process - when they came to pick it up, the guy just made sure it drove, there was no hidden damage, and then handed over check for the amount they quoted

Not sure how their quotes are looking now but it was high during peak used car market days and couldn’t be easier

Typically an active serial killer is a huge media story the second the police realize that's what it is. Boston Strangler, Son of Sam, Ted Cruz, the Nightstalker, etc.

And the ones that flew below the radar relied on people not finding bodies because it's really hard to make a murder look like something other than murder.

One thing I've learned after trading a lot of cars in is.... the value of a used car at the wholesale level (which is what a trade or sale to dealer is worth) is pretty firm. Ie.. certain year, make, model, mileage, and equipment and any decent used car manager is going to come in within +/- $250 bucks. Some dealers may low ball you or they may "over allow" you if you're trading vs. another purchase. But fundamentally the car price is pretty set. Places like Carmax and Carvana are going to give you a pretty solid number.

You’ll never get a “good amount” from selling to a dealer since they intend to resell it at a higher price later. They need to make room for a profit.

Where as selling it privately, the buyer is more likely to pay higher since they’ll be the end user.

We're definitely a better sunrise state than sunset! They're harder to catch, but it's worth waking up for. Most places on the south coast or Narragansett will give you a good view over the water. Fisherman's Memorial in Point Judith is the first specific place that comes to mind for me.
