Obligatory reminder that Hershey uses slavery in it's supply chain

As others have suggested, there's lots to do in Hershey, so you can plan on spending more than one day there. Depending on when you get here and if you like hockey, you can usually get tickets for the historic AHL franchise Hershey Bears.

Pierogies! I think it's the only amusement park I've been that has pierogies.

Nasty place, especially the catacombs. I would never go back and never recommend it to anyone.

Some people might say that the quality of rides in an amusement park is by far the most significant metric to judge them by. You’re not convincing many people to spend the time or money to visit any of these places by appealing to the non-riders.

I like Waldameer the best. Can bring your own food and it's small enough to where you can get a good look at everything and not be completely worn out. It feels like it's actually made for people instead of a bunch of long, winding, hot paths between massive rides.

I’ll say it a million times: Everyone loves to bitch about teachers. They always have. But when your kids are home all the time or there are kids out and about at all hours of the day because schools are canceling classes from lack of teachers, tunes will change pretty quickly.
The ugly reality is that most of us wouldn’t make it a year as a teacher. We wouldn’t put up with their abysmal salaries and working conditions. It’s a thankless job that too many people have spit on for too long, and it’s gonna come back to bite us big time.
