Pa pays teachers the 11th highest salary in the country. Teachers in most districts make $90-100k a year after teaching for ten years. The pension benefits take decades to become real money to a teacher. The main reason they exist is because when population was growing it was easier to promise teachers money later in the future when their students are adults and paying income tax. Now that population has plateaued, pensions are a trap to keep unmotivated teachers working until vest their pension.

Unfortunately no and you wouldn’t have much luck in a small claims court. The toll is connected to the license plate, if the plate is registered to you, you are responsible for the tolls. You made the drive, knew the expense, and still drove roadways that included a toll, it sucks that your ex screwed you over. Just be careful PennDOT doesn’t issue a warrant for unpaid tolls.

Its bad for everyone, except politicians. Having under paid, under motivated, or just in general bad teachers is bad for all of society...

I think the other d8/d9 gummy brands that did not test for those opioids (out of an abundance of caution) were removed along side the “Strictly Delta” brand which was found to have traces of fentanyl, heroin and K2.

The article also mentions “Strictly Delta could not be reached for comment” but there’s no mention of contacting the other companies, Urb & Packwoods.

Maybe, but the law is enough for my very conservative father to put off getting his medical card. They stopped prescribing the only pain medicine that somewhat helped because it's an opioid and the illegal weed he's been buying is the only thing that helps. Medical card or not, they need to stop considering weed users a prohibited person on the 4473.... So now he's breaking two federal laws so that the government doesn't know he wants to own guns and use weed to treat his chronic pain.

Do you know where a lot of people get arrested for weed? College and Universities… The reason why is even more bizarre. The Federal Government has a law that says if they don’t charge drug crimes that the school could lose federal funds and aid. Also once you are convicted, you are ineligible for federal aid.

Yeah I’d just eat the cost and take it as a lesson my guy. This seems like it could turn into a foul situation really quickly.
