I don’t think very many people are going to jail for weed these days, unless it’s use was a parole violation or something. Or if they’re dealing, but the easy way to get rid of the street dealers is to legalize it recreationally.

If I can’t own a gun because I use medical marijuana, then anyone prescribed medication or who consumes alcohol should also be prohibited.

Yeah, just as the GOP wants. They don’t want to STOP putting people in jail, they would prefer to put MORE people in jail.

They need to be careful where they tread. They could get their asses caught up in a HIPPA violation.

The whole point of my post was to illustrate that bc something happened in the past doesn't make it something to aspire or even acquiesce to.
If you're just a lonely stranger on the internet trying to have a discussion about the way things were, then yes, I started working at 15, worked with most of my free time, to pay for things like food and gas money, and I lost pace to my classmates who had more study time. Their parents cared more and understood how capitalism works. My high school jobs as janitor and worker in a book shipping factory only prevented me from getting into better colleges. How about we try to do better for kids today than yesterday instead of trying to brag about how hard we had it to justify backsliding into the bad ideas that flourished during the industrial revolution? Also, exploiting child labor reduces pressure to increase wages for adult workers (really just even keep pace with inflation), which is a whole nother basket of things that are fucked up. Corporations can afford to pay workers more. The adults working jobs should be paid enough that families don't need multiple incomes just to get by.

I wouldn't say totally different, you can fail a THC test by consuming Delta 8. It's hemp derived but still THC.

I’m against laws existing on paper which a motivated cop or DA can use to deny you rights if they wished to do so. Bad laws shouldn’t be unenforced, they should be eliminated.

Yup, the DEA just announced Delta 8, Delta 9 and THC-O are considered controlled substances so we'll see where this goes now.

Exactly what I'm thinking! Urb is a decent trustworthy company in the D8 world, they do 3rd party labs and everything so this smells of black market replicated items.

The thing is one of the items is from Urb, which does 3rd party test and I am having suspicions that it might be a replica issues just like we saw with vapes. The only two things to draw from this is either companies (like Urb) who 3rd party test can't be trusted or illegitimate companies are posing as reputable D8 companies, using their packaging and selling fake products that look like the real brand.

>Urb is generally known as one of the reputable brands of d8/d9 hemp derived products.
This is what stood out to me when I read the article. I mainly stick with 3Chi but I have had Urb gummies before that I purchased at a very reputable place, same place that sells my 3chi. This place only sells items that have the breakdown test results of what's in it and so my question is, are these ones that were sold in the shops from the article "replicas" I know we saw that in the vape market, even brands like Puff Bar was being replicated and they had to start putting verification codes that you would input on their site to see if it was an authentic product bc many were completely replicated and considered dangerous (more dangerous I should say since vaping isn't the healthiest idea either)

How'd you conclude that? I worked at McDonald's specifically when I was a teenager. Turns out having a job isn't mutually exclusive with not wanting illegal labor violations to be encouraged

It's not like the kids or their families get any reparations right? The government just takes some $ and the owner writes it off. "Justice served"

Come on, GOP, you’re almost there. If a med card shouldn’t get in the way of owning a gun, make the next tiny leap and legalize it recreationally. Raise more tax money and reduce crime and the prison population!

She knows the bills, but she’s also broke so she can’t pay them either but they keep racking up in late fees and It’s just impossible for me to catch up at this time so she said to just try to get them switched to her name

No. It's tied to the car owner
You could take it to civil court but you'll need her written agreement to the fees and even then I'm not sure
