He’s a twat who defends performing in apartheid Israel. He crossed a picket line of musicians and is currently touring solo because all of the professional musicians are tired of his shit. I am talking about what is popular, that most people listen to. The stuff that you are forced to listen to if you are out in public. I'm sure there is plenty of obscure things that are very good. Take random songs off the top 40 from the 70s and 80s compared to now and the point you just made makes you look ridiculous.

You are the one making an utter fool of yourself. Most artists in the 80s actually played their own instruments, wrote their own music and could sing without auto-tune.
