It would be like dragging your finger on a record playing. You think someone wants to hear that? If so, go for it,.

As for actual suggestions, was listening to Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana today (André Previn & London Symphony Chorus gets my vote). Tons of gambling, sex, drinking…and a roasting swan lamenting his fate coz, why not?
You’ll know a few of them, but get a translation off the web and enjoy!

If i were to show him my electro playlist of 30 songs total, i would show him:
Waterflame : Glorious morning 1 and 2 F-777 : This ain't science rocket Bossfight - Commando Steve and milky ways
Well, those would be the first.

Song - A Day in The Life - The Beatles
Theme - Star Wars
Band - The Beatles
Album - Rumours - Fleetwood Mac (Pet Sounds & Sgt Pepper would be choices too)
OST - This is too hard, so many great choices from Star Wars, Interstellar, Blade Runner, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter (first one)
OST & Score as same thing so I'll skip that

Good old Reddit!
Google seems to have the wrong end of the stick, as it suggest a Mr B Bunny as a good fit for contemporary Latin music ;-)

Tons of old ecclesiastical stuff & medieval songs (I’m proper down wit da yoot!). As for recent ones, not sure actually. Wasn’t there a trend in Iceland recently of bars holding Latin speaking nights? I might have a Google and see if anyone did some actual new songs. I’ll get back to you….

For the good, I'd play him some Warpaint, which is the only modern, popular music which I think can hold a candle to the great European masters. For the bad, I'd play him some Nicki Minaj, or any one of the numerous other "hip hop" songs that the major label pop music factories churn out.

I tried listening to And Justice For All with earbud headphones and it was so unpleasant due to the overly bright sound with no bass, that I gave up within a few minutes of listening to it.
The songs themselves are fine as proven by any live recording of them.

I never realised that until you mentioned it, but your comment peaked my interest so I just listened to the album and now I definitely hear the "treble-ness" you mentioned (is there a term for that?). It sure could use a little base to balance it out.

Yes, just went down the rabbit hole of music terminology and sure, it seems that "remix" is the more correct term of what I was aiming for with my post. Thanks for the correction.

Most people (if not all) I know, doesn't pay attention to lyrics when listen to music. And doesn't matter the language, even in their on language (I'm from a Spanish speaking country).
I do, I like to look for the lyrics and know what they say.

Ed Sheeran surprises me, he did a collaboration song with Chris Stapleton and Bruno Mars called Blow. I was pleasantly surprised.
