Excellent question for music theory class.

So so many to choose from! Being a lover of r&b, hip hop, rap, the first thing that comes to mind are dope remixes- most people don't have a clue at where these sounds come from and can be soooo eclectic.

Isn't this something you can just look up yourself? Discogs would list them, as would their Wikipedia page.

It’s not my favorite album or anything but it is a damn fine example of what can be done in a studio by someone (Jeff Lynne) that has mastered the art of using the technologies and skills of others and combining them to make one plus one equal three. Like the classical composers did with their technologies in their time and place.
