Tomorrow, I’ll deal with it tomorrow (aside from clearing a path to my work shop).

This winter the Northeast isn't even in the same league with parts of the West in terms of snowfall, where multiple feet is the norm.
We must tip our hats to them - plaid hats with ear flaps, of course.

I don't charge for applications until they see the apartment and want to rent. Then we check their credit and criminal history and charge $35 to do this.

Sounds like a good reason to rent from someone that doesn't change you to apply.

Almost feels like OP was born and grew up after those ads died out and is completely unaware that "no line is safe to touch, evah" is Jim Wright's iconic catchphrase that a lot of Mainers who were born before OP remember.
Would explain their stupidity.

Don't blame her, blame the person who pissed her off in the first place.
(Disclaimer: I didn't do it this time, I swear. No appointments or nuffin'.)
We're gonna go snowblow when the wind dies down and decides not to be a bitch to glasses-wearers like ourselves.

I’m not, plow guys does the driveway. I’ve got a small snowblower for my deck which I usually do twice to keep extra weight off it.
This is going to all melt over the next week anyway.

It’s just an analogy, he isn’t suggesting people go touch downed lines. His ad is saying, both literally and figuratively, that we shouldn’t mess with power lines.
If someone is stupid enough to watch that ad and think “wow, he is saying I should go touch downed power lines” then Darwin was going to get them one way or another.

Reply to Is it normal to pay a rental applictation fee BEFORE viewing a property? by sirbikesalot
80% of Craigslist listings are scams nowadays. Sounds like this person is simply trying to collect $50 from a bench of desperate renters and then they will cut off communication. They don’t own the property.
Use actual rental websites or Facebook marketplace. Be extremely skeptical of anything on Craigslist.
