Until it is frozen down with ice, the lil motor burns out from being held down, and now you’re out $2100. A few cars DO spray the rear camera with washer fluid, which, I think is the best solution so far.

I keep a pump sprayer with water, isopropyl alcohol, and a drop of soap in the garage. After driving around on snow days, I like to spray the windows off when I get home. It’s a little bit of work, but it makes my life easier in between car wash visits.

The other day, jumped out of the truck at a red light, grabbed some snow, and washed all the front sensors and camera. When I got back in the truck, my wife called me a jackass but my front camera was clean and my sensors were no longer beeping at me.
