No problem! People are so ignorant when it comes to weed anyways, they always have been. It just makes me hungry and tired, personally. Also relives some of my back pain. Allows me to feel the music and be less anxious.

I don't advocate to minors using it or driving around while high, but I'm not dumb enough to think neither of those happen, regardless of legalities and/or parental preferences. I mean, as a teen I smoked and drove around, part of being young and dumb. I can only hope my kiddo makes better choices than me. (Kiddos already against smoking so that's good. I do tell 'em the worst thing you can do is start we were discussing cigarettes, and thinks weed smells horrible- lots of growers about, it smells awfully skunky sometimes 😂)

And definitely prescription drugs and alcohol addictions are way worse!

My family is from rural central Maine where many people only drive around two back and forth from a ‘hub’ town or city. The town is easily memorable and there is often only one way to get back and forth to the city. I could see a low bar for driver’s licenses in these incidences especially because services aren’t exactly flush.

I just started this year. I've only been twice so far. I got an hand auger, traps from Facebook marketplace and a cheap tent from ebay for around $100. I do wish I had some sort of power auger. But the hand auger is ok if you can find someone else's old holes and re open them. I kinda just went for it. A license is like 30$ but it's year round. So you can go in the summer too. I've seen some power augers for $100-150 used. I just need to pull the trigger. I'd recommend a sled to transport your gear. Honestly anything long will do. Some stuff at Walmart is on sale now because it's late in the season. I got some neoprene gloves for $5 they had traps really cheap too. If you get worms for bait check them before you buy them. I got some last weekend and by the time I got out on the ice I found that they were dead. I didn't feel like going all the way back to the store by then for my $3. I'd like to try live minnows soon.

I grew up in Lincoln county but I never actually ate there, I do recall a time in the 90s when folks talked about the price and the portion of lobster being a hell of a deal. But I've heard those days are long gone from what folks in here seem to say.

I personally always liked Shaw's myself and when I am back up that way it's where I tend to go.
