The people who don't clear snow off the roof are annoying, but even worse are the people who don't clean it off their windshields. I was driving behind someone yesterday who had zero rear visibility because the back windshield was covered in snow, and their wipers must have been frozen because they only cleared off half of the front windshield as well.

Oh dang, I didn’t know that’s how he died! Wow. Makes it all the more wild that sometimes when I’m visiting home, I see some dude with a bunch of confederate flags flying from his truck driving around like two minutes from Joshua Chamberlain’s house…

I hope his ghost follows that dude home and haunts him :///

I have a dashcam and I can't even get law enforcement to be interested in getting video of people driving recklessly. I have a fucking clown on video doing about 65 miles an hour down the middle of my 35mph road in his 1-ton with a horse trailer on the back. Can't even get them to take the video on it. Face, plates, everything. Could have killed someone.... and they do it on a regular basis.

At this point I am pretty sure the police only utilize traffic safety laws to fuck with poor people.

He is thought to be the last Civil War veteran to die from wounds received during combat, not so much the last Civil War veteran to die. His wounds were not pleasant.

The last claimed Civil War participant to die was Alfred Henry Woolson. Interestingly, the year of death appears to be in dispute: either 1953 or 1956 or 1959. DOB is agreed upon, 1843, as is his role during the Civil War: drummer boy. He was either 106 or 109 upon death.

In close second was Col. Walter Williams. He is said to have congratulated Woolson on reaching 109. But the dates of their last appearances and deaths clash. Cannot be in grand marshall in a parade once dead.

Bruce Caton stated years ago that 1950 saw 65 Civil War vets still alive. But none in 1960. 1950, however, was long after 1914. Which adds a bit of a question to the claim re Col. Chamberlain.

Just fyi, topicals don’t absorb into the blood stream and will not get you high. No matter how much thc/cbd is in them. And they will not show a dirty drug test for that reason. That is only true for topicals though. Tinctures will absorb into the blood stream via the mucus barrier in your mouth. I still understand not taking a chance on your career. But I had to share that information so it was known.

I highly recommend trying a full spectrum topical. It isn’t widely known that using thc topically WONT cause psychoactive response in your brain. Aka it won’t get you high. But it is fantastic for deep joint and bone pain. I suffer from gout pretty regularly and topicals work wonders for the pain. The full spectrum extracts contain all the beneficial cannabinoids that can aide in pain relief.
