Brokers charge +/- 6%...that's 18k on a 300k house. Check out the Maine MLS, Zillow, and Realtor.com to get a feel for the market...work directly with the listing agency and negotiate their commission. After a relatively slow fall and winter, agencies can be flexible.

Windham master team reporting in. That still has a newbury comics vibe and is very clean and nice. Sorry for your loss.

Wait what? Less than $7k for your mortgage, property taxes and insurance in a YEAR? I spend $1100/mo in rent in Waterville. And I’m not living in luxury. I hate this timeline.

I noticed that the Bangor location just seems to be slowly depleting their stock of TTRPG materials without really restocking or getting any new material in.
I'm in there on occasion and haven't seen their shelves hold something new in weeks. I visited the one in South Portland, which seemed to have so much more and even some pre-owned books of 4e dnd, which got me pretty excited.
Bangors location seems like it's running itself down, and I'm not super sure why but I hope it gets better because it's the closest one to Belfast.

What do you think of the record connection in Waterville? Personally I liked it better at the old location. The new location is huge and nice but I haven't found anything good there in awhile. I used to always find stuff.

Yeah they’ve really dropped the ball in Brunswick. It’s sad to see because I grew up buying from there. Now I just go straight to deep groove records and call it a day. Much better selection.

In Lewiston it's absolutely management. The new manager is completely ineffectual as a leader. Firing well liked employees, hiring friends to shift leader with no training or experience. They're also incapable of taking constructive criticism, or having direct conversations with employees. As a person, I think the manager and assistant manager are chill people, but they have the leadership qualities of rancid shrimp.

CoA is a nice school but way over priced and from the people I know that went there, didn’t give them any kind of a leg up compared to other graduates. UNE is a good school but also very expensive. UMaine is well known for getting students hands on experience throughout their degree process. Honestly, what really sets one application apart from another after graduation is grades and hands on experience in and out of the classroom. Internships are everything in environmental sciences field. If you have any questions feel free to message me.

It's good. I live over an hour away, it's not really on the most convenient routes for me to get where I'm going when I hit the coast, but I will go out of my way to eat here because it's worth the detour.

So that’s the cost to purchase a lifetime hunting license if the person is currently an Infant to Age 5.
Any hunter under age 16 must follow these rules:
•Hunters from 10–15 years of age must be in the presence of, and under the effective control of, a junior hunter supervisor.
•Hunters under the age of 10 must be in the presence of, and under the effective control of, a junior hunter supervisor who remains at all times within 20 feet of the hunter.

The Lewiston store has a weak inept manager. Their assistant manager and her are both deeply insecure and are slowly alienating or firing the competent staff
The Manager literally just fired one of their best staff for no cause, and hired the assistant managers friend directly to shift leader with no prior experience.
Give it a month it two before they fire the other two competent staff and hire their own cronies/friends.

I’ve been wanting to try the Montsweage restaurant! The parking lot is always packed! I looked it up and the menu looks great! I’ve been wanting to time it with the flea market though, so Ive been waiting until the summer.

It just blends in with other locations in Bangor. Run down, slummy and in general. Feels ugly or dark in there at times. Selection of things are not great compared to other stores. I stop at other locations and end up with things, Bangor though, I'm lucky if I bought something out of there once a year.

I can’t decide whether I find the idea of a Resident Infant Hunting License hilarious, cute, or off putting. Somehow it’s a bit of all three?

I think it's fine to make a conscious choice to spend that way if you want to and can do it. Just so it's not just slipping away under the radar so you don't realize where it's gone.
