For what it’s worth, I think the bone crushing cold a couple of weekends ago should mean a much better season for browntail this summer regardless of this weekend’s temp. My understanding is that 48 hours below 10 degrees has a significant impact on their reproduction.

If anyone has different or better info on this please correct me as a reply.

Yup. I work for Beans. The former CEO who passed away a few years ago was supposedly a great guy. My coworker, a fellow machine operator in the warehouse, said he used to chat with him every morning. He used to go on walks with the wife and CEO. As far as being an employee, I have no complaints whatsoever. I mean, ffs we got a 12% cash AND 8% 401k bonus last year. Is it a perfect company? No. Do they treat us well? Hell yes. Also, the bean boots are still made right in Maine (dad works in the boot factory)

For all the haters I ask you one question. Can you do anything to stop today? Yes, vote. Yes, act. Yes, spread awareness. I buy into all of that. But why hate on a beautiful day in February that you can wear shorts.

Of course it’s because of global warming and of course it’s terrible, but maybe just go out and get some vitamin D and enjoy it?

A true worry. It seems we don't seem to have any push back on visual annoyance. Signs and sings and signs. Billboards (not in maine). Road signs- our stop signs now all have signs that warn there is stop sign. Cities and towns installing bright digital information screens. More and more you look around and see visual pollution. People walking a beach at night with a headlamp on. It's like we don't have any sense of the disruption on serenity all these thing have. And space won't be any different. (okay rant over)

>I’m done, can’t debate someone who doesn’t follow basic definitions of words. A part of someone’s face is not someone’s whole face. The skin is not able to rip off the face by being pulled in one specific spot, it’s literally not possible. Another breed of dog can rip a face off because of the way they bite. But pits bite and then stay biting, to rip a face off would require multiple bites. Omg and now you believe a dog can rip a head off a human, you are just straight up delusional

When ER doctors describe some of those attacked by pit bulls in official medical records as having their faces "ripped off," that's all the definition anyone with any common sense needs. Furthermore, no one said the skin of those who have their faces ripped off were being pulled in "one specific spot," and no, pit bulls do not always "bite and then stay biting." In April 2013, 2-year-old Beau Rutledge of Atlanta had his head ripped off by the family pit bull. The only ones posting here who are delusional are you and the other pit nutters, and I seriously doubt you'd recognize a pit bull if one bit you in the behind!
