Yea Mainers will be tapping in December in a few years. So sad I hate winter now. Just warm/moist/muddy and miserable. Mud season has already started and will run for many months

This makes no sense and it's obvious you don't know what you're talking about otherwise you'd actually respond like a real adult

https://www.science.org/content/article/grass-fed-cows-won-t-save-climate-report-finds
Grass fed cows live longer and each cow (each pound of meat it produces) takes longer to mature and so the cow produces more methane per pound of finished meat. And also all the food they eat (soy, wheat, corn etc) are a lot of the 'vegan food'you are saying is 'equally bad because of the transportation emissions'... how do you think cows food gets to them? And do you really think it makes sense for everyone to eat grass fed? That's some first world thinking right there
Again, read the comparison between CO2 (from transportation) in contrast to CH4. I already covered all of that. It's all bad but if you recycle or something like that I bet you care about the environment. Most plastic waste comes not from consumer goods but fishing nets in the ocean. Yet we applaud people using less plastic and recycling.
Maybe look into your actual impact and the facts instead of kidding yourself

Actually its the opposite. You can't see something unless you believe it is there.

Very much a County thing. They were kind of a poverty food in the County so maybe before your time. Kids often brought them to school in their lunchboxes. Like whoopie pies used to be before they went viral.

They're like whoopie pie's country cousin that never got famous. Used to be a common home made treat that your mother would put in your lunch box. Cheap to make at home. Because potatoes & paraffin wax were always on hand. Coconut and bakers chocolate easy to buy and available even in the boonies.

I'm not any under obligation to, but sure, I'll respond to yours.
Like WalkerBRiley said, no one's demanding we freak out--the article literally states that if the impacts did hit here then it would be low-hazard. At best, however, we should be concerned. This is a serious event with very serious consequences and anyone who isn't at the very least concerned about it...well, I worry for 'em.

I'm not denying climate change I'm also not really worrying about it. I can recycle and acknowledge the need to improve our lives without losing sleep over it

Even switching from beef to chicken makes a big difference, correct?
