This is all true. It seems like ferries would ideal for being electrified, considering they don’t go too far and are on a set course.

I’m still hopeful that we can manage to build a better biodiesel infrastructure to help support machinery/boats/planes. But everyone may keep pushing electric-powered transport

It’s okay to break the law and endanger other people because they want to bring their dog to a place they don’t belong ??? A lemonade stand is hurting no on….. untrained dogs in a food establishment because a person can’t adult??? Big difference

They aren’t too embarrassed to break the law and draw attention with their not needed dog……if they can’t go to the grocery store without a support animal they can do online shopping. They don’t need to infringe on other peoples rights…. Like people who are afraid of dogs. Such entitlement because they can’t adult. Wahhh

It is disgusting but the people who bring their pets to stores with them are just looking for attention. It’s a certain type of personality who does it. I’m my opinion they are usually trashy people who have nothing else so they look for attention from people oohing over their dog. I feel sorry for those selfish people that they care so little about anyone else and their needs….. it’s all about them. I find them pathetic honestly.

The US currently dedicates~40% of corn, and a similar fraction of soybean oil to biofuels already. So there's limited room to expand biofuels to support all the applications that we currently use liquid fuels for. My expectation is that shorter-range boats, intended for single-day travel, are likely to be electrified.

One of the big problems is Adaptive Headlights haven't been legal in the US until recently, so while the European version of these cars have had the technology for decades to shine brightly without blinding oncoming traffic, we haven't been allowed to use them.

I don't think the person you're responding to is very reasonable. They say the majority of people like dogs, then two sentences later cite a source showing only 38% of households like dogs enough to own them.

Exactly this. Many people pay little to no attention when they operate a vehicle. When you get a car serviced, for instance, the lights are always shut off. People never notice it was done, and their interior has lights, so... Canada has legislation introduced that would make lights default to auto to prevent this, but I'm not sure where that is at the moment. If it passes there, I suspect many manufacturers will adopt it to keep all North American market stuff the same.

I have a pair of Sorel waterproof boots for snow that I like.

You might want to invest in a pair of Muck Boots as they are good for the mud season when everything melts. Basically you are going to want a pair of warm warm boots for snow, and a pair of waterproof boots that aren't as warm (but can still be insulated) for when things get sloppy.
